Curtain installation and common problems
One: installation
Key points: 1. Accurate measurement; 2. Consideration of the overall effect of the space; 3. Color painting of curtains; 4. Size and style of curtains.
5. Positioning, the accuracy of line drawing and positioning is related to the success or failure of curtain installation. First, measure the fixed hole distance and the size of the required installation track.
Precautions:
1. When installing the curtain box, find a good place first, draw the dimension line carefully, and install the embedded parts accurately. Make sure that the line is drawn correctly before installation, and the installation ruler must make the elevation consistent and the center line accurate.
2. When installing the curtain box, the size should be the same at both ends.
3. To prevent the curtain track from falling off, the thickness of the cover plate should not be less than 15mm. The cover plate thinner than 15mm should be fixed with machine screws.
4. The length of the track depends on the window plus the window cover, plus a 10 cm buffer position.
5. Paint the wood before installing it.
6. Leave at least 10cm between the lower edge of the plaster line and the upper edge of the window cover.
7. The length of the curtain rod should be greater than the width of the window cover to avoid light leakage.
8. The curtain rod installation should be level and firm.
Two: debugging
1. Curtain opening and closing are not in place
This situation may be caused by external forces that cause the curtains to be asymmetrical on both sides. At this time, just manually move the two curtains closer to the middle, and then use the remote control to open it again.
2. No response to remote control operation of curtains
The first step is to check if the power of the remote control is exhausted,
The second step, if the remote control is ok, you need to check whether the curtain power socket has electricity.
The third step is to check whether the power plug of the electric track is in good contact with the socket.
Three: curtain cleaning
How to properly clean curtains of different materials. The curtains are generally dusted off once a week, especially to remove the dust accumulated in the folds of the curtains. It is best to use a vacuum cleaner or a feather duster to remove the dust. It should be cleaned regularly every six months. Before we wash the curtains, we must deal with them according to the style of the curtain. A curtain has both parts suitable for washing and parts that are not suitable for washing, such as lace, silk ribbons, etc., which must be removed separately Wash it down and sew it up by a professional master after washing it. Do not use detergents containing bleaching ingredients to clean the curtains. Try not to choose dehydration or drying. You should choose natural air drying to avoid destroying the unique texture of the curtains. If stained, use a clean cloth dipped in water to wipe off. To avoid leaving marks, it is best to wipe from the periphery of the stain. If you find that the thread is loose, do not pull it off with your hands, but use scissors to cut it.
Cleaning skills:
1) First distinguish the fabric. If it is velvet, it is not recommended to wash it with water. Washing will make the velvet produce a "yin and yang surface". If it is soiled, only the part can be washed. You can't rub it with your hands. You can only brush it in one direction with a soft brush. Make sure that the suede goes in one direction, and use the special detergent for curtains to spray on the fabric instead of rubbing it. Another: Flannel curtains have strong dust absorption power. After disassembly, use your hands to shake the curtains to make the surface dust attached to the flannel naturally fall off, and then soak them in water containing detergent for about 15 minutes. It is best not to wash the flannel curtains with a washing machine. It is recommended to gently filter the water with your hands. Do not wring out forcefully after washing, just let the water drip dry automatically. It is best to dry clean, avoid ironing on the surface.
2) If there is embroidery, it depends on the shrinkage rate of the non-embroidery parts. If it is not large, such as yarn or silk, it can be washed with water. If the shrinkage rate is large, such as pure cotton, it is also dirty and washed. If it is wool or silk, It can only be dry cleaned and not washed.
3) Curtains made of cotton and linen are easier to clean and can be washed directly in the washing machine. In addition to using washing powder, it is best to add a little fabric softener to make the cotton and linen curtains softer after washing.
4) Pure cotton cloth has strong alkali resistance and can be washed with various soaps and detergents. The water temperature should be controlled below 35℃. The curtains can be soaked in warm water for 1 to 2 hours, but it is not advisable to soak them in detergent for a long time to prevent the color from fading, and then rinse them with clean water.
5) When scrubbing, remember not to use too much force to prevent the surface from fluffing. When ironing, the temperature is below 120℃, it is best to put a white cloth on it, so as not to fade and affect the appearance. When drying, if there are mildew spots on the curtains, you can soak them in a diluted solution of 20 grams of ammonia to 1 liter of water, and then rinse them off. The blinds can be cleaned directly. Spray an appropriate amount of water on the curtains and wipe them dry with a rag. If the drawstring of blinds is dirty, you can clean it with a damp cloth dipped in detergent.
6) Roller blinds are generally difficult to disassemble, so they can be cleaned directly with detergent. When cleaning, pay special attention to the places around the roller shutter that are easier to absorb dust. If the dust is heavy, use a soft brush to remove the dust, and wipe it with clean water.
In addition, silk, silk floss, soybean fiber: do not use detergents containing biological enzymes, it is recommended to use silk and wool detergent, add a little vinegar when washing to increase gloss. Wool and cashmere: Avoid prolonged soaking. Do not use detergents containing biological enzymes. Other detergents should be used with caution. Silk and bamboo fiber flannel curtains: Do not spin dry, try to dry clean.
Precautions:
1) If it is not a white curtain, it is not recommended to use bleach to avoid discoloration. For example, the white curtains in your home are yellowing due to age. You can soak the curtains with half a cup of salt before cleaning, and then put them in the washing powder to clean the curtains before cleaning.
2) Those who love to be clean can wash the curtains twice a year!
Do not wash curtains frequently, as this will affect its original beauty, feel, texture, drape, warmth, and shading. Will affect its service life. Curtains with long fluff are recommended to be cleaned once a year.
